We are trying to get as many in as the minimum spec system will allow, we are looking at including up to 6 players per team.
What kind of rewards can we look forward to for teamwork in PvP and in general PvE content?
In PvP the focus is on teamwork to bring down enemy players. Vehicles are quite resilient, so it will take a few shots to take them down, so going alone will leave you at a disadvantage if you get caught out.
In PvE the rewards come from dealing with the environment and challenges presented therein, mostly in forms of enemy packs, wanderers and bosses. We are looking into a PvE co-op gameplay mode as well, which might get added in at a later stage.
Will vehicles have special abilities, or perks?
Every vehicle, every pilot and every suit a pilot wears comes with it’s own set of skills/ablities and stat bonuses. Playing with the combinations of these leads to a great variety of abilities, and when added to the different weapons available to the mechs and pilots, creates a truly unique playground for creating very interesting and powerful combinations.
How will mech variants be integrated into the game. Will they be in trees, or lines or how does it work? Can you upgrade directly to end tiers, or do you have to go through a set of vehicles?
In Void of Heroes, you have mech manufacturers and lines(though the end of the line is not always manufactured, but something that evolved…), and their mechs are set in tiered lines, so you choose a manufacturer, spend your earned experience and credits to research the tech, and then purchase the mechs, in order to be able to unlock the next one in the tree. There will be special vehicles outside of the trees, like specials from the comics, premium vehicles etc…
